Important: Truth, Dare, Bare is an adults-only service. The Service contains sexual themes, explicit language, stylised illustrated nudity, illustrated sexual positions, and mature gameplay intended exclusively for users aged 18 years and over.

Who we are

Truth, Dare, Bare is operated as a sole trader based in Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at [email protected].

Truth, Dare, Bare is an adults-only service. The Service contains sexual themes, explicit language, stylised illustrated nudity, illustrated sexual positions, and mature gameplay intended exclusively for users aged 18 years and over.

Our privacy approach

We aim to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible. Because Truth, Dare, Bare is an adult-oriented game, we take a privacy-conscious approach to how the Service operates and avoid collecting sensitive gameplay data wherever possible.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not track your truth or dare responses, selected cards, sexual preferences, gameplay choices, player names, or session history.

What we collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the game, process purchases, support users, and operate the Service responsibly. This may include:

What we don't collect

Local browser storage

Truth, Dare, Bare uses browser local storage to make the game work smoothly without requiring an account. Local storage may include your unlocked status, unlock code, age-gate confirmation, player names, game settings, filter choices, and other gameplay preferences.

This information is stored on your own device and browser. It is not sent to us as part of normal gameplay. If you clear your browser storage, use a different browser, or change devices, you may need to re-enter your unlock code and set your preferences again.

You should avoid entering real names or information that you do not want stored locally on your device, particularly if you share that device with others.

Age gate & age-restricted access

Truth, Dare, Bare is intended only for adults aged 18 years and over. The Service includes an age gate and clear adult-content warnings before access to gameplay.

Your age confirmation may be stored locally in your browser so you are not asked to confirm every time you access the Service. This confirmation is stored on your device and is not sent to us as part of normal gameplay.

We aim to take a privacy-conscious approach to age-restricted access. Where possible, we prefer low-data measures such as clear age warnings, age-gating, local browser storage, and payment-provider checks rather than collecting identity documents ourselves.

We may update or modify age-gating, access controls, or other safeguards from time to time in response to legal, regulatory, payment provider, platform, or operational requirements.

Minors

Truth, Dare, Bare is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.

If we become aware that a minor has accessed the Service or submitted personal information, we may take steps to restrict access and delete associated information where reasonably practicable.

Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function, support security, and maintain performance. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may set a small number of technical cookies for security, performance, bot protection, and operational purposes.

Payments & Stripe

All payments are processed by Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase, you are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy in addition to ours.

We do not receive or store your full card number. We may receive limited payment-related information, such as your email address, transaction confirmation, purchase status, and information needed to provide your unlock code, support your purchase, respond to disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Hosting & infrastructure

This marketing website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. The game itself is hosted on DigitalOcean. These providers may process technical information and standard server logs, including IP addresses, timestamps, browser information, device information, and request data for security, operational, diagnostic, and performance purposes.

These providers maintain their own privacy and security practices. We rely on them to help operate the Service securely and reliably.

Overseas service providers

Some of our service providers, including payment, hosting, infrastructure, and security providers, may process or store information outside Australia. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be handled in countries where those providers operate, subject to their own privacy and security practices.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. This may include providing the Service, delivering unlock codes, responding to support requests, maintaining transaction records, meeting legal and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, and preventing fraud or misuse.

Information stored locally in your browser remains on your device until you clear it, overwrite it, or remove it through your browser settings.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited personal information we handle from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to operate the Service responsibly and with privacy in mind.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Given the limited data we collect, this is usually straightforward - email us at [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

You may also contact us to raise a privacy concern or complaint. We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't notify you by email unless the changes significantly affect how your personal information is handled and we have a practical way to contact you.
